The mystical law of equivalence and a mystical source of satisfaction

The mystical law of equivalence

The law says everyone is equal and deserves our respect, no matter how he appears to us and what human qualities he has. Is this law now mystical or not? Let everyone answer this question so that it's true for him. Whoever is in peace with himself, wants to be in peace with himself. Why should he want something other?

If a person is not at peace or does not have a pure sense of himself and feels that something is lacking in his character, this lack causes him to feel inferior to other people. He will try to compensate for his perceived lack by persuading himself to be superior, either by some performance or through contempt of others. Who are these others? For him, the others are people with a difficult character, with different opinions, enemies, savages, criminals, less intelligent people, followers of heresies, sick people, elderly people, slaves, gays, philistines or people who are not member of the local canoe club. Many people have doubts that they are okay. By downgrading others they feel better about themselves. The Illusion of their own superiority makes it easier for them to cope with life.

Anyone who thinks that he is “better than the others“ infringes on the mystical law of equivalence. The “better than others-idea“ is the basics of oppression, fascism, slavery and megalomania.

The mystical source of satisfaction

The murderers and the criminals are not our major threat, because their power is limited. The really big danger to society lies in ourselves. If we do not feel our uniqueness, we feel uncertain. We feel inferior and make compensations. We try to to see ourselves as fantastic beings. The addiction to megalomania makes us decry others.

In every human is a source for peace. If we find the way to perceive the salvation or the joyful holiness within us, we can become more relaxed and happier through life. Anyone who feels or has felt the salvation or holiness in himself, does not need fantasies of superiority. It can happen that someone feels a whiff of holiness arise. He should let the feeling of holiness come and go, and be grateful, without any possessive attitude. This helps one to live with deeper joy, more peace and happiness. Many people know of such experiences. Someone who has experienced holiness in his own life experiences the highs and lows of life like other people do; but, he has met the place within him, where he can find the bright and laughing bliss.
